THE BUND RESIDENCE VILLA
Project - Residence
2026 - SHANGHAI
The overall space is rooted in the Shanghai-style aesthetic, inheriting its cultural essence of integrating tradition and modernity, embracing global influences, to create a calm, elegant living atmosphere with a light-luxury quality.
The interior is enveloped in warm wood finishes, accented by the solemn texture of marble and the subtle luster of metal details.
The functional layout — public areas on the 3rd floor, bedroom zones on the 4th floor, and a domestic service area in the lower basement — follows the natural living flow of a luxury villa.
From the mirrored extensions in the foyer, to the interplay of light and shadow in the living and dining area, to the intimate lighting in the bedrooms, mirrored elements serve as a clever design thread running through the entire residence, echoing the core theme of the Prism.
Every mirror is conceived to capture natural and artificial light. As sunlight pours in, the mirrors refract and fragment the rays, scattering them as shimmering spots throughout the space. Light and shadow interweave, reality and reflection echo each other, endowing the interior with dynamic and vivid luminosity. These specks of light rest on the gentle texture of wood veneer, the dignified surface of marble, the refined glow of metal, and the varied fabrics of furniture. They continuously transform the appearance of the space, making it a genuine projection of inner peace.
